Kathaleen Waddle

Kathaleen Waddle, 93, died May 12.
She was a deaconess at Verde Baptist Church in Cottonwood, and loved gardening, tole painting, cooking and gathering with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Waddle.
She is survived by sons Rodney [Ginny] Dean of Oklahoma and Terry [Rayne] Dean of Kansas; daughter, Rhonda Harvey of Cottonwood; stepchildren Kevin [Laura] Waddle of Chino Valley, Kimberly [Steve] Penniman of Glendale, Kristen Waddle of Peoria, and Kirk [Carrie] Waddle of Phoenix; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
