Robert ‘Bob’ Louis Gay

Robert “Bob” Louis Gay, 85, of Camp Verde, died April 23.

A driver for several trucking companies, he later retired to Camp Verde and drove for the Camp Verde Unified School District. He was a member of Central Arizona Modelers, Arizona Midget Racing Association, Central Arizona Antique Car Club, Phoenix Jaycees, AGBA Poultry Club and Rooster Booster Poultry Club.

He is survived by his wife, Bettie Gay; son, Robert Gay Jr.; daughters, Cynthia Davis, Cathleen Weitzel, and Robbi Pendergraft; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Marsha Thomas; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
