Cecil Rogers, a lifetime resident of the Verde Valley, died April 24.

Born on a ranch in Cornville, he attended Clarkdale Elementary, Clemenceau Middle School, and Jerome High School. After working for TWA Airlines, he returned to the Verde Valley and worked for APS for 33 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Leonard, sister Alice, and beloved Shih Tzus.

He is survived by his daughters, Lynda, Deborah, Melody, Pamela and Elizabeth; two sons-in-law; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

ln lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Maggie’s Hospice.
