Marilynn Botelho, 71, of Cornville, died Feb. 28.

She spent over 35 years working for the U.S. Air Force at various locations in the United States and Europe. She held bachelor’s and masters’ degrees, and retired as human resource director for the Secretary of the Air Force.

After retiring, she and her husband, Michael, moved to Cornville. She had no children of her own, but quickly “adopted” Michael’s family, son Gary [Jennifer] daughter Debi [Lance], three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Donations are suggested to the Verde Valley Humane Society.
