Larry Ganis, 82, of Camp Verde, Arizona, died Feb. 25.

He started working at 14 years old as an apprentice carpenter. After transferring to the lathers union, he worked in Arizona, South Carolina and California before retiring to Camp Verde in 2008. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and traveling the country on his Goldwing trike.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, and sons Jeffrey and Kenneth.

He is survived by his son, Steve’ daughter-in-laws Gail Ganis and Deon Murphy; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
