David Kanowsky

David Kanowsky, 88, of Cottonwood, died Feb. 27.
A native of the Bronx, N.Y., he retired to Cottonwood in 1999 and volunteered at the Yavapai College Library. A board member at Cottonwood Ranch, he handled classic movie night at the organization’s club house.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth and son Tom.
He is survived by his son Peter, brother Gary, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws, caregivers and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name are suggested to YES the ARC in Cottonwood.
