Milton Othello Pate Jr., 95, died Feb. 21.

He served in the U.S. Army as a construction engineer in Korea during World War II, and later worked as a rangeland conservationist. He was married to Gail Noel Egan Pate for over 47 years, and the couple have been active members of the Camp Verde Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brother Verrell Pate; sister Dawnye Reeves; daughter Patricia Kathleen Pate-Merritt; son Michael Lee Pate; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be announced at a later date.
