Phyllis Constance Ventura

Phyllis Constance Ventura, 75, of Cornville, died Jan. 19.
Born in Bremerton, Wash., she received a bachelor’s degree and joined the US Army, attaining the rank of second lieutenant as a member of the Women’s Army Corps. She was a member of Verde Community Church and Clarkdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Nan Bauer.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Frederick Dornes Jr.; sister Judith Turner; and two nieces.
Interment will be in the Prescott National Cemetery at a later date.
