Robert L. “Luke” Harmer, 78, died Nov. 23.

A Verde Valley resident and USMC veteran, he served in Vietnam from 1961 to 1963. He was known as a school bus driver for the Sedona and Cottonwood school districts and Sedona Trolley, and was a Home Depot, MET Team, employee.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; children Penny [Jim] McClimon, Rick Harmer, Michael [Maria] Harmer and Rena Harmer; and four grandchildren.

USMC Honors Service and internment will be Tuesday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott.
