Marjorie Ethel “Peggy” Funk, 99, of Cottonwood, died Feb. 21.

After moving to Cottonwood in 1980, she was active in the ham radio club, garden club, Working Artists of Yavapai County and attended Haven United Methodist Church in Jerome.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.

She is survived by her sons, Paul, Rex, Don and Bob; three daughters-in-law; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verde Valley Sanctuary are suggested.
