Yavapai County saw record turnout in the 2020 elections, with more than 140,000 ballots cast early, dwarfing 2016’s total turnout before Election Day. There was no shortage of ballots cast in person and via drop-boxes on the day itself, with lines of about 20 minutes at the County Administrative Building in Cottonwood about mid-day.
The below totals represent what is believed to be the final tallies for Yavapai County, though there remain additional ballots outstanding in other Arizona counties, meaning that changes for state and federal races may still be subject to change.
Mingus/Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District consolidation

Clarkdale-Jerome Elementary School District
“Shall the Governing Board of Clarkdale-Jerome Elementary School District No. 3 of Yavapai County, Arizona, adopt a General Maintenance and Operation Budget which includes an amount that exceeds the revenue control limit specified by statute by 10% for fiscal year 2021/2022 and for six subsequent years as described below? The 2021/2022 budget override authority represents an increase of the current 10% budget override authority which is scheduled to expire after 2022/2023 if the voters do not approve this override. The amount of the proposed budget increase of the proposed budget over the alternate budget for fiscal year 2021/2022 is estimated to be $290,214. In fiscal years 2021/2022 through 2025/2026 the amount of the proposed increase will be ten percent of the District’s revenue control limit in each of such years, as provided in Section 15-481(P) of the Arizona Revised Statutes. In fiscal years 2026/2027 and 2027/2028, the amount of the proposed increase will be six and two-thirds percent and three and one-thirds percent, respectively, of the District’s revenue control limit in each of such years, as provided in Section 15-481(P) of the Arizona Revised Statutes.”
