Carl Douglas “Doug” Longfellow

Carl Douglas “Doug” Longfellow died June 17.

During his banking career, he became president of banks in Montana and Arizona. During his second career as a volunteer fireman/EMT, he became Chief of the Cornville/Page Springs Fire Department. He was instrumental in the merging of two departments into the Verde Valley Fire District. He later became Chief of the Verde Valley Ambulance Company.

He is survived by his brothers Dale [Kathy] and David [Adele]; children Pam [Mike], Susan [Glenn] of Cottonwood and Greg [Katie] of Rimrock; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
