David Cole, 79, of Cottonwood, died Jan. 8

He was a professor and consultant. He volunteered at Yavapai College’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and Verde Valley Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons Brian and Andrew and their wives, and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Verde Community Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Parkinson’s Foundation or OLLI through the Yavapai College Foundation.
