Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Epperson

Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Epperson, 95, of Cottonwood, died April 9.

He owned Shell service stations in Arizona and Texas and the Big A Auto Parts store in Cottonwood until his retirement 1988. A U.S. Army veteran, he spent two years in Northern and Western Europe during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, wife Barbie and daughter Lisa Epperson-Dewitt.

He is survived by his sons, Randy, Greg and Jeff; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
