Christine P. DeWolfe of Cottonwood, died April 24.

She attended UC Santa Cruz and was a food service supervisor at South Bay Medical Center in Redondo Beach, Calif.
After retiring to Cottonwood in 2003, she became active in American Legion Post 25 and served as officer for 14 years.

She is survived by her husband David; sisters Cheryl Essington and Celeste Mamula of California; sisters-in-law Evelyn Harding and Betty Bruhmuller; brother-in-law James DeWolfe of Massachusetts; and nieces and nephews.

Jo Page has worked at Larson newspapers as typesetter since 2010. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
