Susan Knauer, of Sedona and Cornville, died Feb. 18

.
She is survived by her husband Joseph; daughter Pamela [Marc] Menton; son Seth Shapiro; sister Elaine [Martin] Weinberger; brother Allen [Zelda] Mason; nine grandchildren and their parents Madeline [Alan] Knauer-Graham, Marcia [Todd] Abelson and Benjamin [Kristina] Knauer.

She was a founding member of the synagogue where her needlepointed Chagall Windows are displayed, was instrumental in creating the Christ Lutheran/Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley yearly themed luncheons, and was a member of the Women’s Havurah.
