Mary Ellen Kaus Makey

Mary Ellen Kaus Makey, 89, of Cottonwood, died Jan. 19.
She married Dale “Red” Bowman in 1954 and had three children. She married Robert “Bob” Makey on April 10, 1971.
She was preceded in death by her son Steve Bowman and husband Bob Makey.
She is survived by her daughters Karen [Rodney] Schlotfeld of Cottonwood and Aggie [Brad] Collopy of Gering, Neb.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Rene Jackson of Salem, Ore.and brother Harold [Janet] Kaus of Morrill, Neb.
