Cottonwood Fire and Medical Department, Cottonwood Police Department and Verde Valley Ambulance Company responded to the intersection of Cornville Road and State Route 89A for a report of a three-vehicle accident Thursday morning.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a three vehicle rear-end type accident involving a truck and two passenger vehicles. There were a total of four occupants in the three vehicles.
Two occupants were treated on scene by fire and EMS personnel and subsequently were transported to Verde Valley Medical Center by the Verde Valley Ambulance Company.
One occupant refused medical treatment and transport and the remaining occupant denied injury and did not enter the EMS system.
Cottonwood Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
