Where are you from?
Cottonwood.
What sports do you play?
Football and wrestling.
Which one is your favorite?
Wrestling, by far.
How excited are you to have your 100th career victory?
It’s been a long road but I’m really happy and plenty more to come, too.
Do you have a favorite sports team or athlete?
I’d say the [Green Bay] Packers are my favorite team, but I don’t watch too much.
What do you do in your free time?
I work out with my brother, I binge watch on Netflix.
Do you have any prematch routines or superstitions?
I grab my ankle bracelet and I’ll bless myself before each match.
Describe your coach in one word.
Very outgoing.
Describe yourself in one word.
Determined.
What makes a good teammate?
The hard work and the effort and the practice they put in.
What are the benefits of playing high school sports?
Each different sport has their own bond, but I feel like football and wrestling, you become the closest with each of your teammates.
What are your future goals?
I’m enlisted in the military [National Guard] so I’m thinking about making a career out of that, but I’m not for sure. I have a couple of scholarships for wrestling, so I haven’t really decided yet.
