James Oliver Ash, 80, of Camp Verde, died Nov. 8.

He was born in Akron, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Yona; sons Scot [Jodi] Ash of Scottsdale and Kenneth “Kit” Lillestrand of Las Vegas; daughters Jami [Kerri] Ash of Phoenix and Melony Parent of Santa Barbara, Calif.; brother Stanley [Lavonne] Ash of Ashville, NC; and four grandchildren.

Contributions are suggested to Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church; Camp Verde Library Endowment; or Maggie’s Hospice in Prescott.
