What sports do you play?
Volleyball.

What’s the best part about it?
Just all the energy when someone gets a crazy dig or block, it’s the energy we get.

The worst part?
When someone gets down on themselves. It’s like cancer to the whole team so we all kind of get down on ourselves.

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not playing volleyball?
I like sleeping.

Favorite television show?
“Shameless.”

Favorite food?
Pasta.

What kinds of valuable lessons has playing sports taught you?
How to work with a team and not to be selfish, because in life you can’t really be selfish.

Do you have any prematch routines or superstitions?
When I serve I have to hit the ball three times so I can get my flow or I have to listen to music.

Who’s been the most influential person in your life?
Probably my mom, because she has gone through a lot. Her just being strong the whole time and raising four kids I think is pretty amazing.

Do you have a memorable moment or match in your career?
This one, we beat Sedona in one match for the first time in my four years of playing here, so I think that’s pretty great.
