Gloria Schwartz, 81, of Jerome, died Sept. 14.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., her stage name was Gloria Kaye and she had a long and impressive list of theatrical credits on Broadway, off-Broadway, television, summer stock and film, including one of the dancers in “West Side Story.”

A Jerome resident for 28 years, she was also accomplished in painting and stained glass.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Noel Schwartz.
