Virgilee M. Loyd, 72 of Clarkdale, died July 20.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Alice Kinsey and brothers Herman Jackson and Wallace Jackson.

She is survived by her sons Brendon Loyd, Sean Loyd and Keith Loyd; daughter Nicole [Michael] Loyd-Valdepena; brothers Randy Wathogoma and Andrew Wathogoma; sisters Deborah [Edison] Manakaja, Andrea Wathogoma and Tammy [Robin] Wathogoma-Russell; many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services have been held.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
