On Jan. 21, Cottonwood Police Sgt. Monica Kuhlt was awarded the Moose Lodge Cottonwood Officer of the Year Award at the third annual First Responders banquet held at the Verde Valley Moose Lodge in Clarkdale.
Kuhlt was selected for her 13 years of dedicated service, including leading out in the Verde Valley Shop with a Cop, and leadership in the Cottonwood Crime Free Multi-Housing program which provides safer rental communities for the citizens of Cottonwood. She is a member of the Verde Valley Leadership Class 11. For most of her years of service, she participated in and recently assumed lead on Cottonwood’s National Night Out, the largest singular NNO event in the state.
Congratulations go to Kuhlt for her dedicated service to the citizens of the Verde Valley.
