She was born in Jerome.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Anthony Vargas.
She is survived by her husband, Angel “Tony” Vargas; son Angel “Bobby” [Elizabeth] Vargas of Rimrock; daughters Susan [Gary] Vargas Frank of Phoenix and Loretta [Billy] Vargas Donovan of Cottonwood; brother Lorenzo [Carmen] Ruiz of Clarkdale; Ralie Ramos of Marysville, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a few great-great-grandchildren.
