Clarkdale police are investigating a house fire on Calle Carrillo in Centerville in which a man’s body was found.
At 3:05 a.m. on Feb. 17, police responded to the residential structure fire, along with Clarkdale Fire District and Cottonwood Fire Department crews.
A small trailer was found fully engulfed in flames. A man in his 60s was located dead inside.
The incident is being investigated as a possible arson. The name of the man is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
An autopsy will be performed within the next week by the Yavapai County Medical Examiner’s Office.
