George Henry Short, 75, of Cottonwood, died Oct. 22, in Phoenix.
He is survived by son, Alfred Short of Yuma; daughters Karen of Chandler, Jamie Lara [Eutimo Lara-Leon] of Cottonwood; sisters Adlain May [Wendell] and Shirley Short of Crowley, Texas, and Rebecca Kirkland of Pryor, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Westcott Funeral Home; services will be held Friday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
