Aradath Ireta “Ardie” Adkisson, formerly of Cottonwood, died Aug. 24 in Sedona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Robert “Bob” Adkisson.
She is survived by her daughters Starlene Byles, Taralee Myers and Karanel Jones; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per her request, her ashes will be scattered in the Bodie Ghost Town State Park in California. A memorial service will be held later in Cottonwood at a date to be determined.
