Billy ‘Bill’ Everett Baird

Billy “Bill” Everett Baird, of Camp Verde, died Dec. 4.
Born in Ridgefarm, Ill., he was a Korean War veteran. He served as a fireman and chief of police and was a water and sewage treatment specialist for the town of Ridgefarm. He retired as assistant director of security of Arizona Center in 1996.
He is survived by his son Bruce Baird and grandchildren Brice Baird and Jaclyn Baird; his daughter Ellen Dacon, and grandson Florian Goetz.
