He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lee Newton.
He is survived by his sons Jerry Dean Newton of Sedona, Tommy Joseph [Bev] Newton of Cottonwood and Ronald Allen [Ivy] Newton of Cottonwood; brother Don [Bobbi] Newton of Yavapai County; sisters Lavern [Wayne] Jones of Cottonwood, Bonnie Jackson of Lake Montezuma, Phylis [Mac] Christy of Sedona, Vivian McCrossen of Cornville and Sharon [Mike] Sue of Sedona; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
