Six seniors send Cowboys ahead of last year

Published:

Six seniors hope to make 2015 special for the Camp Verde High School basketball programs.

There is no substitute for experienced upperclassmen in the post, and 6-foot, 3-inch Bram Hickey, along with 5-foot, 10-inch Mariah Daniels, give the Cowboys leadership and an offensive focal point down low.

Head boys coach Dan Wall hopes Hickey can help reverse a 20-loss campaign from last season, while athletic director and head girls coach Mark Showers looks to Daniels to orchestrate a second straight season with 20 wins or better.

Girls head coach Mark Showers takes time to work one-on-one with his players for this year’s varsity team which he believes will be one of the top three he has ever coached.
