Town retains water lawyer

Published:

The town of Clarkdale has retained a water rights attorney to assist it in moving forward with various projects related to sustainability.

The Town Council voted at its Oct. 14 meeting to hire the law firm of Squire Patton Boggs.

Squire Patton Boggs has offices across the country.

Specifically, the move will see the town working with Peter Culp, an attorney who has worked with the town in the past.

Culp has worked with numerous water issues and has been appointed to the Colorado River Advisory Commission by Arizona Govs. Janet Napolitano and Jan Brewer.
