Bluegrass band plays Clarkdale concert series

Burnett Family Bluegrass will feature hard-driving instrumentals and fine-tuned harmonies in its free performance at Clarkdale’s Concerts in the Park series on Saturday, Aug. 23.

On Saturday, Aug. 23, the Burnett Family Bluegrass band performs at the next Clarkdale Concerts in the Park presentation.

Clarkdale Community Services/Parks and Recreation presents this free concert from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clarkdale Town Park gazebo located at 1001 Main St., Clarkdale.

It was the summer of 1993, in the mountains of Northern Arizona, when Burnett Family Bluegrass was born. The band is made of father Brian on guitar and mandolin, mother Connie on stand-up bass, Rachel on fiddle, Jessie on mandolin, fiddle, guitar and banjo and Ryan on banjo, fiddle and mandolin.
