Camp Verde joins league in promoting proposals

Published:

The Camp Verde Town Council is putting its support behind a number of proposed legislative moves being considered for support by the League of Arizona Cities and Towns.

The league is a group that works on behalf of the interests of Arizona’s local municipal governments.

Different town governments sponsor resolutions that the league will then try to lobby for if approved.

Last week, the Camp Verde Town Council authorized Mayor Charlie German to vote yes on all the resolutions up for consideration.

Those resolutions involve a variety of proposed measures, including a ban on the use of mobile phones while driving — except in the case of an emergency.
