The Verde Lakes neighborhood has long been dealing with flooding issues. The Town of Camp Verde still plans to continue work on addressing the issue as soon as possible.

Being that this is a desert, it doesn’t rain that often. When it does rain, though, it pours.

Resident Bob Johnson said there are culverts that help, but they get clogged at times which makes the problem worse.

While flooding can happen as a result of snow melt or other factors, monsoon rains can cause problems in many different areas in a relatively short period of time.
