Business owners, regional officials and others gathered last week to discuss how to work together and help take advantage of tourism.
The gathering was a workshop hosted by the Arizona Office of Tourism on April 30 at the Cliff Castle Hotel in Camp Verde.
The office brought together people from across what it considers the “north central region” to promote the benefits of working together to bring in tourists to different locations and how to promote businesses and locations that visitors may otherwise overlook.
“We’re here to talk about what we do as a state agency,” said Karen Churchard, assistant deputy director with the Arizona Office of Tourism. “We work to market the entire state.”
