Resale store a family affair

Published:

Melissa Mathews and her husband, Josh, went into business for themselves last year. They’ve been in their current spot since December.

The two set up a second-hand resale store in Fort Verde Plaza, inside the large storefront that used to be home to Fairway Foods, the old grocery store that served Camp Verde in the days before Bashas’.

The old grocery store has been transformed with just about any item one could think of on the floor and around the walls.

There’s everything from furniture and DVDs to craft supplies and even a laser-guided pair of scissors.

“Things have been going really good,” Mathews said. “We’ve been growing quickly.”
