Arizona Gives Day is finally here, allowing Arizonans the chance to give to the local and state causes of their choice via the Arizona Gives website.
Continuing until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, donors can give charitable contributions through the website, with an expected 1,000 nonprofit organizations and their causes participating.
Started in 2013, the event is curated by the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers, two organizations de-voted to the promotion of nonprofits in Arizona. More than 45 organizations based in the Verde Valley are set to participate in the event, with even more participating groups located throughout the county.
