Library celebrates Hitchcock films

Camp Verde Community Library celebrates its Alfred Hitchcock Day on March 12. The library played director Sir Alfred Hitchcock’s films throughout the day, like the classic 1960 thriller “Psycho.”

Suspense was in the air last Wednesday, March 12, at the Camp Verde Community Library, where the day was spent in recognition of a master of the genre.

The library was decked out in all things Alfred Hitchcock for a day featuring his work.

A sign on the door actually informed visitors that instead of the library, they were about to step foot inside the Bates Motel.

“One of our teen volunteers drew that sign,” said Gerry Laurito, library specialist at the local library.
