For years, the South By Southwest music and media festivals have brought live music to Austin, Texas, and one venue in Cottonwood now wants to emulate the feel of the classic event.

Main Stage will be holding its inaugural SxSMain festival, a 4-night event beginning the first weekend in March and featuring touring acts from Phoenix, Tucson, Los Angeles, San Diego and more.

Brandon Decker, Main Stage’s booking manager, said that he got the idea from traveling with his own band to the Austin-based festival.
