Art show keeps museum funded

Bob Lanning of the Clemenceau Heritage Museum goes over a full list of vendors and artists that will be a part of the museum’s upcoming craft show. While the Zeke Taylor Barbecue is the museum’s major fundraiser, the craft show is just as popular, having sold out of vendor spaces.

The Clemenceau Heritage Museum is gearing up for one of their biggest fundraisers of the year.

The Arts and Crafts show is set for Saturday, Feb. 8, and will feature several local artists displaying works of all kinds.

Bob Lanning, a show organizer, said spaces are already booked up in the gym of the old school on the corner of Mingus Avenue and Willard Street.

“This is our 18th year,” Lanning said.

Lanning said that there were 35 spaces available and they fill up fast.
