Airport eyes land for future

The Cottonwood Airport is looking ahead by planning for future capital improvement projects over the next five years.

Of course, whether the projects will actually come to fruition depends on several factors — particularly, available funding.

Cottonwood Airport Board Chairman Jim Moeny described the airport capital improvement program as a sort of “wish list.” Getting the items on the list done requires a lot of red tape.

“It’s kind of a long and complicated business,” Moeny said.
