Jean McConnell likes to read.
Last week, she was in the right place for that, volunteering at the monthly Camp Verde Community Library book sale out of Rio Verde Plaza on Main Street.
“I like to read science fiction, historical novels, lots of different things,” McConnell said.
McConnell has been volunteering with the library pretty much since right after she arrived in Camp Verde in 1994.

She volunteered in children’s books then; today she spends time working to get books online.
