Superstar winner Bonner credits family support

The Sedona Sunrise Superstar judges crowned new 2013 Superstar, Rising Star and Juniorr Rising Star singers Jan. 30, awarding the titles to Karla Bonner, Julia Koss and Kennedy Shosted, respectively.

When asked how it felt to win the prestigious title of Superstar, Bonner kept it right to the point.
“It feels awesome,” she said.

Bonner, a wife, mother and now grandmother from Cottonwood, was quick to elaborate.

“Being in this competition has afforded me the opportunity to rekindle my love for singing,” she said.
