Camp Verde cowboyed up in the fourth quarter in one of its biggest games of the season and almost had an amazing come-from-behind win in the books — and on Senior Night, too.
The Camp Verde High School boys basketball [7-18] rallied back from a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter, reducing its deficit to just two points against Division III conference rival Sedona Red Rock High School [6-15] at home on Thursday, Jan. 24. The Scorpions, however, held onto the lead and took home a 56-52 win.
