The Camp Verde wrestlers continue to show their might as they dominated in their second meet of the season.
Camp Verde High School hosted a 4-Way meet on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Camp Verde High School gym that included Mingus Union, Valley Lutheran and Valley Sanders high schools. Camp Verde came out of the tournament with 47 wins and only eight losses, including 31 pins.

The Cowboys beat the Marauders with a dual score of 54-21 in front of the entire Camp Verde High School student body, as the dual was held during an assembly. The Cowboys also beat Valley Lutheran 60-12 and Valley Sanders 60-12, giving them a 3-0 dual record.
“The student body gave the Cowboy wrestlers some extra excitement,” Weir said. “In the end, the Cowboys were very impressive. They only lost three matches during the dual meet. The rest of the night continued to be impressive for the Cowboys.”
Junior Isaiah McReynolds saw his first wrestling action of the year after recovering from an illness. He dominated his opponent with three pins, five wins and no losses. No points were earned against him.
