Mingus Avenue road work affects election site

Beginning at 7 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 6, Mingus Avenue will be closed from Williard Street to State Route 89A, to allow paving to take place.

Those heading from the east to the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District, at 1 N. Willard St., to vote in the general election between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., should avoid Mingus Avenue and instead us to Williard Street.

The road will reopen on Thursday, Nov. 8. During the closure, use Williard Street and State Route 89A as an alternate route.

Mingus Avenue west of Williard Street will remain a construction zone until the final completion of the project. Continue to use caution.
