Bashas’ robbery suspect arrested, Walgreens robber sought

Sedona police arrested a suspect Friday night, Oct. 19,  in the Bashas’ Grocery Store robbery, which occurred that morning, and are now looking for a second suspect who robbed Walgreens on Sunday, Oct. 21, around 1 p.m.

During the Sunday robbery, across State Route 89A from Bashas’ in West Sedona, the suspect displayed a handgun and made off with prescription painkillers from the pharmacy. No money was taken.

Sedona Police Department Cmdr. Rob Wheeler has released photos of the Walgreens suspect.

The robbery at Bashas’ Grocery Store in West Sedona occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect who robbed Walgreens at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct.  21, should call the Sedona Police Department at 282-3100.According to Wheeler, a lone suspect entered the West Sedona grocery store and bound an employee in an office before making off with an undisclosed sum of money.
