He was preceded in death by his father Marlon Harris.

He is survived by his son Michael Harris [Karen] of Texas; his daughter Michele Brawdy [Laris] of Texas; brother Joseph Harris of Cottonwood; sisters Kathleen Boren of Texas and Sherri Ann Frank of Cottonwood; mother Florence Frank of Cottonwood; and two grandchildren.
