The hospitalized after head-on crash

Emergency responders responded to a seious an accident on State Route 260 on Wednesday, Aug. 29, at approximately 8:40 a.m.

Two of three injured people were traveling in a pickup truck with a cab-over camper and another was in a small R.V.

The female passenger from the pickup truck was taken by helicopter to Flagstaff medical center with serious injuries including a compound fracture of her arm.

The other two male victims were transported to Verde Valley Medical Center by ambulance with unspecified injuries.

Traffic was brought to a complete halt as emergency responders tended to the injured and then cleared the roadway but has since been reopened.
